Do you have strong experience in a senior Management Accountant or possibly Finance Director role? Your role as a Group Management Accountant role:
Working in a busy office, you will be overseeing the group accounts across 3 operating companies as well as ensuring the smooth running of the office. Duties will include:
Preparing and analysing financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow
Monitoring and managing budgets
Financial forecasting and risk analysis to assist strategic decision-making
Providing financial insight and recommendations to senior management to improve profitability and efficiency
Collaborating across the business to develop and implement financial controls and processes
Performing variance analysis to identify risks, trends, and opportunities for savings and growth
Assisting in preparing annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
Ensuring accurate and timely month end and year end closing
Overseeing the support team in the office to ensure the smooth running of the office
We would love to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:
Previous experience in a similar Management Accountant role or possibly Finance Director role
A strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices
Strong people / team management skills
Ideally CPA or CMA certification
Stable career history
Ambitious with the desire and ability to progress to a CEO role in the next few years
Proficient in using accounting software such as Sage, PeopleSoft, QuickBooks, or Xero
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
