Field Service Engineer - Materials Handling
Salary: £34,000 £36,500 + Van, Pension, O/T & Offshore Allowance Earnings 55-60k
Offshore Allowance - £110 a day when stopping away offshore.
£50 a day extra salary if doing 1 day with no stay over.

The Company
My client is one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of materials handling machinery to a wide variety of industries. The company has been established for over 30 years. Due to further expansion within the British market, they have the need to recruit an additional field service engineer, with electrical service and commissioning experience.
The Role
You will be an Electrically Apprentice Trained maintenance engineer, with experience working on similar overhead crane or materials handling machines. The workload will vary between onshore and offshore. The person needs to be comfortable working offshore for up to 2 weeks at a time. The person will be involved in servicing machinery and installing and commissioning new cranes. When offshore, you will be required to stay away over night.
On a day to day basis you will work on Davitt Cranes, Gantry Cranes, Jib Cranes, Quayside Cranes, Winches and Hoists. There has to be flexibility in the role in terms of time spent away from home and travelling, as this is a field service engineering role. There is an excellent opportunity for further financial gains with overtime available for the engineers who desire, leading to earnings between £50,000 and £60,000 per annum.
KEY SKILLS
- Apprentice Trained Engineer in Electrical Engineering
- Field service experience is a must
- Experience in installing machines
