Remuneration: £40,000 - £50,000

The role of the Technical Manager - Textiles Manufacturing will involve:
- Technical Manager position dealing with the manufacture of high quality range of performance textiles
- Manage product development in order to achieve R&D / Marketing objectives
- Co-ordinating laboratory testing resources to meet customer requirements in compliance with ISO 9001:2000
- Resolve any internal or external quality issues to ensure timely root cause analysis, corrective action and continuous improvement of manufacturing operations
- Producing data sheets, specifications, health & safety documentation and other technical literature
- Advising customers on choice of fabrics, specification enquiries, and textile properties
- Carry out technical audits and reports
- 1 direct report (Laboratory Technician)
The ideal applicant will be a Technical Manager - Textiles Manufacturing with:
- Must have Technical Manager / Quality Management experience within the textiles manufacturing market sector
- Ideally will have technical auditing experience
- Ideally will have an Engineering qualification (Textiles / Chemical would be preferable)
- IT literate (Microsoft Office)
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Confident individual comfortable with presenting to groups
- High levels of organisation and attention to detail
