A regional specialist ground works and concrete frame contractor have an opportunity for a part-time Estimator to join their team in Kent.
Working along side the Commercial Director and Operations Director you will be required to prepare estimates for projects related to groundwork and reinforced concrete (RC) frames
This is a part-time role working on a hybrid basis with 1 day per week visiting the office near Maidstone, Kent.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Cost calculations for projects, considering labor, materials, and other expenses.
- Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for clients based on project requirements.
- Plan Review: Review architectural plans and engineering drawings to understand project scope and requirements.
- Supplier Coordination: Collaborate with suppliers to obtain pricing information for materials and services.
- Tender Submissions: Assist in compiling and submitting competitive tenders.
- Budget Management: Track construction expenses and ensure projects stay within budge
Experience Required
- Experience in estimating for groundwork and RC frame projects.
- Education: Degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tenders.
- Knowledge of various forms of contracts
