Electronic Engineer (Energy sector)

Salary: up to 50,000

Location: Kent

My client is experiencing a continued expansion across their business, and so has a position for an Electronic Engineer to join the team. They work within the energy sector, designing and manufacturing power and control systems.

You will be working in a small team of multidisciplined engineers, maintaining existing modules, and designing new products. Responsibilities include designing modules for their multiplex bus system, electronic support for their off-grid product range, developing low-level firmware, PCB layout and schematic capture.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Electronic Engineering
• Analogue and digital circuit design
• Experience in designing PCBs containing sensitive analogue, arm processors and power components
• Knowledge of design for EMC compliance
• Experienced in designing switch mode power supplies
• Knowledge of hardware interfaces
• Component level test and fault finding
• Electronic circuit building and basic wiring

Desirables:

• Embedded programming
• Ethernet hardware and protocols
• RTOS
