MedicsPro Limited is one of the UK’s leading specialist healthcare recruitment agencies, contracted to supply medical staff to a wide range of public and private sector clients throughout the UK. Our people are industry experts, providing staffing for roles such as doctors, nurses, allied health professionals (AHP) and health science staff (HSS).

The Head of Marketing will be a highly skilled and experienced individual who is looking to join the business at a pivotal time, helping to lay the foundations for a new and growing department, taking ownership of the establishment of the marketing and communication best practice for the entire business, develop its internal and external marketing capability to provide a springboard for MedicsPro to achieve its ambitious growth plans. You will also function as a key point of contact for the Senior Leadership team and stakeholders across the group with the assistance of the Digital Marketeer who is a key member to the marketing team.

As Head of Marketing, you will have responsibility of the branding of MedicsPro, managing our social media presence, creating a marketing strategy incorporating the composition of marketing materials, advertising, press releases within budget to enable the business to have visibility, promote the services we provide, and the charitable works supported in the local community.

Role & Responsibilities

Deliver strategic digital marketing campaigns that promote key activities across the business incorporating social media, email marketing, paid advertising, website landing pages and company app.

  • Manage charitable association/partnership to ensure effective promotional activities and fundraising.
  • Having ownership of the development of internal and external communication materials to promote group services, company vision and key objectives.
  • Responsibility for corporate communications and press/media handling, taking ownership of Public Relation activities to raise awareness of organisational brand nationwide.
  • Managing the creation of compelling and effective marcomms content for internal and external communication and analysing the success of all marketing initiatives.
  • Delivering the marketing and communication elements of events and campaigns throughout the calendar year, marketing campaigns with merchandising ensuring brand and quality with supporting metrics to highlight effectiveness.
  • Effective budget management, incorporating exhibitions, charitable events, business development with engagement measures to demonstrate ROI and KPI’s.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Supporting the establishment and maintenance of brand compliance across the group’s multiple divisions and desks, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines.

Desired skills and Experience

  • 5 years plus experience in marketing communications or public relations role (either agency or client-side).
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
  • Able to demonstrate and put together an annual marketing plan.
  • Strong collaboration with Senior Leadership Team and Key Stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience of project management and strategic planning.
  • Strong leadership skills, and team management.
  • Strong copy writing and organisational skills.
  • Elevated level of social media marketing knowledge, experience, and content creation.
  • Website management experience, including maximising opportunities through SEO & content development.
  • Proficient level of digital skills utilising the Adobe Creative Suite of programs (particularly Photoshop and Illustrator).
  • Proficient in Microsoft packages.
  • Ability to manage deadlines, own workload and deliver results.
