SEN Teacher

Remedy are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join a school and make a positive impact on the lives of our students with special educational needs.

Location: RomfordHours: Monday to Friday, 8:30-3:30pm Salary: £170 to £220 per day, dependent on experience Contract: Full-time, temporary, temp to perm

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan, deliver, and assess lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of students with special educational needs.- Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive and reach their full potential.- Implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and make adaptations to curriculum materials to accommodate students' learning styles and abilities.- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to ensure coordinated support for students with SEN.- Monitor and track student's progress, providing regular feedback to inform future teaching and support strategies.- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student progress, behaviour, and achievements.

Requirements:- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable but not essential.- Experience working with students with special educational needs is essential.- Strong knowledge of SEN teaching strategies, interventions, and resources.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.- Flexibility, resilience, and a commitment to promoting inclusivity and diversity in education.
