We are looking for a Parts Advisor to join a team in Romsey. The ideal candidate will have proven experience working with vehicle parts. This role requires a professional who can plan, organise, and meet agreed work deadlines with a keen attention to detail.
Day to day of the role:- Handle customer enquiries in a prompt and courteous manner, selling the benefits of our products and services.
- Accurately order, check, and locate all parts, reporting any stock discrepancies and damage.
- Manage the safe return of old exchange units and warranty items, ensuring they are clean, drained of fluids, and ready for credit return with all necessary paperwork.
- Pack and load parts correctly to avoid damage or loss for dispatch to customers via van delivery or postal/carrier services.
- Maintain good working relationships with all internal and external customers, updating prospect records as necessary.
- Ability to plan, organise, and meet agreed work deadlines.
- Quick assimilation of information and ability to provide considered responses.
- High attention to detail and maintenance of good, accurate quality of work.
- Technical Qualification or proven experience of working with vehicle parts.
- Effective communication skills with team and management of external and customer relationships.
- PC and web literacy.
