Warehouse Operative

The role:

We are looking a Warehouse Operative, to start immediately. The job will involve the following:

• Ensuring customer goods are loaded and unloaded carefully, identifying any damages or missing items
• Ensuring deliveries are scanned and put into correct run locations
• Make sure all items are scanned correctly and loaded as per load plans
• Follow procedures for unloading vans each night, signing off correctly, and complete the warehouse sweep to ensure no items left in the warehouse
• Ensure the warehouse is kept tidy at all times

Requirements:

• Relevant experience in a similar role or a background in working within a process-oriented environment.
• Demonstrated capability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication abilities.
• Proficient in time management and planning.
• Possession of an FLT (Forklift Truck) license is preferred, although a training arrangement can be made to obtain one.

Rate of pay - £11.44 per hour. Paid weekly.
