I am currently recruiting a skilled mechanical fitter for a client based near the Rossendale area, specialising in the manufacturing of special purpose machinery.
This role would suit a time served mechanical fitter who has previously worked in the machine build sector.
Pay- 15
Working hours- 8am to 4:30pm - 3pm finish Friday
Key Responsibilities:
- Use a variety of hand tools to be able to assemble machinery.
- Read and following engineering drawing's
- Follow production schedules and address any issues discussed during weekly meetings.
- Adapt quickly to changing priorities and work off-plan when necessary.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment in line with health and safety standards.
- Support colleagues as needed, becoming proficient in sub-assembly and full assembly builds.
