Pay Rate: £14.00 - £19.65 PER HOUR

This role will be to cover holiday and sickness cover but may become permanent for the right candidate.

Day to Day Duties
- Driving/operating Class 2 Vehicles safely and efficiently
- Strapping Steel products
- Making on time deliveries
- Ensure vehicle is well presented
- Comply with driving rules and regulations
- Be prepared for various shift lengths
- Ensure your load is strapped securely
- Multi-drop deliveries
Essential Skills
- Hold a valid UK Category C licence for a minimum of 6 months
- Hold a valid UK CPC Card
- Hold a valid UK Digital tachograph card
- Have 6 months experience of driving category C vehicles
- Experience of strapping loads with chains
- Experience of using a flat bed
- No more than 6 penalty points
- No Major endorsement codes
- Positive 'Can Do' attitude
- Good communication skills
Desirable Experience
- Experience of working on an ad hoc basis in the steel industry is desirable but not essential.
What training is provided?
- Drivers will be required to complete a driving assessment, site assessment and also take regular drug and alcohol tests.
