Sales Manager - South Yorkshire - up to 60,000 (70,000k OTE) + Benefits - Ref 1572

I am currently recruiting for Sales Manager to work for a key client of mine based in South Yorkshire. Salary up to 60,000 (70,000 OTE) + Benefits.

The company stands as a global leader in engineering, operating at the forefront of its respective market. With a workforce exceeding 160 individuals, they are dedicated to delivering unparalleled engineering solutions to clients both domestically and internationally.

To support the continued growth of the business and to deal with the amount of work they have now and forecasted they have the need to appoint a Sales Manager on a permanent basis.


In this role you will need to have a structured and effectively rank opportunities to develop a comprehensive understanding of the company's key markets. Key responsibilities include market development through identification and cultivation, utilising a targeted approach to engage customers in existing and emerging markets, and proactively pursuing targeted customers. Additionally, the successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency in identifying client needs and aligning the company's offerings accordingly. Experience in seeking out and completing high-value bids and tenders, as well as technical project-based industrial selling, is essential. Strong account management skills and a proven track record in progressing projects to order placement are also required. The candidate should have experience in maintaining a robust Sales Pipeline, involvement in quotation preparation to ensure compliance with customer requirements.

Essential Requirements:

  • 2 years' experience working in an Industrial industry
  • Experience working as a Sales Manager

Desirable Requirements

  • Heavy Engineering Background
