Elvet Recruitment are recruiting for a Site Agent / Site Manager on behalf of a reputablecivil engineering main contractor for ongoing works in the West and South Yorkshire region.
The company are known for their high quality work and reputation for long-standing staff tenures. They are a huge advocate of growing staff internally and nearly all of the senior management team have grown within the business over a number of years.
They are on an expansion drive currently and are looking to strengthen their already-strong civil engineering team in Yorkshire. They employ over 1000 staff in the North of England.
Projects include: flood defence, highways, structures, streetworks/public realm etc.
Project values range anywhere from 1m to 15m+.
Projects are allregional - noworking away!
Duties as Site Agent:
- Manage site team and supply chain to deliver projects toquality targets and deadlines.
- Writing, updating and briefing RAMS.
- Undertaking daily site paperwork.
- Progress reports & meetings with senior management team.
- Managing site including sub-contractors to ensure quality and H&S standards are delivered.
- Ordering materials & plant.
- Promoting sustainable solutions for projects.
Experience Required as Site Agent:
- Experience working as Site Agent / Site Manager to deliver civil engineering projects with values of 5m.
- Experience of commercial involvement and demonstrable financial awareness.
- Experience working as main contractor, ideally tier 1 or large regional.
- Ability to manage project costs and on the ground delivery at all stages.
- Qualifications: CSCS, SMSTS, TWS/TWCare essential.
- Degreeor HNC/HND qualified is preferred.
Remuneration:
On offer is a salary of up to52,000 plus generous package including:
Car or allowance, pension, private health care, personal & business fuel, annual leave and more.
