Are you a skilled CNC miller with a passion for precision engineering? Do you thrive in a dynamic environment where creativity and technical expertise converge? We're seeking a talented individual like you to join our team and take our manufacturing processes to new heights!
All operators must have an excellent knowledge of setting, programming & operating. Further training will be given for the CNC control of choice. Knowledge of CAM software would be good, but not essential.
- Productivity Bonus; 4.00 (For every hour saved on the job. Shop average 4-5hrs /week)
- Pension; 3% (7% total including employee contribution), plus an extra 2% after 2 or more years' service.
- Holiday pay; Average weekly gross earnings
- Holidays per year; 33 Days (including statutory)
- Sick pay; Basic pay for 13 weeks, then half pay for a further 13 week
Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce high-quality components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
Program CNC machines using hiedenhain
Conduct routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
Collaborate with engineers and designers to troubleshoot issues and implement improvements in machining processes.
Adhere to strict safety protocols and quality standards to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
Requirements:
Proficiency in CNC milling operations, including setup, operation, and tool selection.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
