GSL Education are looking for Cover Supervisors available for immediate start in Rotherham to manage classroom activities and ensure student engagement in the absence of the regular teacher.
Job Summary:
- Oversee student work and facilitate classroom activities.
- Implement lesson plans provided by the regular teacher.
- Maintain discipline and a constructive educational environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide appropriate feedback to students and teachers about the day’s activities.
- Ensure all students are safe and accounted for during class times.
- Assist with the preparation of resources and classroom set-up as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in education or childcare is beneficial.
- Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances.
Please note: This role requires a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection, and successful candidates must satisfy all background checks including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
