Elevation Recruitment Group are excited to be partnering with a well-known manufacturing company who are looking to appoint a HR Advisor for their brand new site in Rotherham on a 9 months fixed term contract with the potential to go permanent.Â
This is a newly created, HR Advisor role supporting the set up of a brand new site whilst reporting in the HR Manager. This is a superb opportunity for someone wanting an exciting challenge in a fast-growing business with an initial focus on recruitment and onboarding.
As a HR Advisor, your responsibilities shall include:
- Coach, guide and upskill line managers in all HR policies and procedures
- Supporting line managers in all areas of ER including absence reviews, performance management, investigations and disciplinaries through advising and note taking
- Overseeing all recruitment activity for the site including placing adverts, screening applicants, arranging and attending interviews, providing feedback to candidates and conducting right to work checks
- Liaising with the site Training Co-ordinator to prepare induction plans and equipment and delivering inductions to new starters
- Lead site initiatives including reward and recognition, communication and engagement, welfare, and wellbeing
- Updating and reviewing the HR system and working closely with the payroll team to process new hires, leavers and pay related changes

We are looking for a confident and enthusiastic HR professional who has:-
Proven experience in managing ER casework and policy development to achieve commercial resultsÂ
A solid understanding of HR best practice, employment legislation, recruitment and onboarding
Ability to influence and coach others to improve performance and deliver best practice
Experience within a manufacturing, engineering or logistics environment
