Talstaff Recruitment - HGV / Class 1 / C+E Drivers required in Thurnscoe, Rotherham to cover a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.
This is a Temporary to Permanent placement.
HGV Class 1 Drivers urgently required for a full time role for our client based in Rotherham.
You will be required to:
· Be part of a double manned team doing set runs to Southampton/Andover/Basingstoke.
· Use of a tail lift & refrigerated trailer
· Start times between 00:00 – 03:00 dependent on the day
· 4 on 4 off shift pattern
· Must be prepared for manual tip
· Average 13/14 hour shifts
· Have knowledge of driver hours/regulations.
· Hold a category UK C+E driving licence.
· Hold a valid UK DCPC and UK digicard.
· Work in a professional manner.
· Be prepared to undertake site inductions and training.
· Have excellent geographical knowledge.
· Be able to follow company procedures and keep various people informed of progress or delays.
In return:
· £14.00 per hour (breaks paid)
· Full uniform provided after qualifying period.
· Weekly pay.
·Temporary to Permanent placement.
You must have held a valid HGV Class 1 licence for over 1 year, have no more than 6 penalty points and have no CD, DD, TT, IN or DR codes.
