Liberty Recruitment Group is absolutely delighted to be partnering exclusively with a charitable organisation who are looking for a Deputy Service Manager to join the team. This is a full-time, 12 month fix term contract, office-based role, working 37.5 hours per week.

Some of your duties will include:

  • Overseeing team operations, training, and HR processes, as well as fostering a positive team culture and supporting staff development.
  • Monitoring and enhancing service standards, collaborating with external agencies and clients.
  • Prioritizing client welfare, ensuring compliance with policies and codes of conduct, and promoting diversity and inclusivity in service provision.
  • Administrative and financial duties, including record-keeping, legal compliance, staying updated on relevant legislation and maintaining accurate statistics.
  • Participating in on-call out of hours responsibilities on an occasional rostered basis.

As an individual you will have:

  • Previously worked or volunteered in a support type role, ideally in a charity or non-profit.
  • Relevant telephone and face-to-face customer service skills including management or supervisory experience.
  • Experience working in high-pressure and fast-paced environments and be confident in managing staff.

In return you will be offered a salary between £30,000-£36,000 depending on experience, plus numerous benefits including 23 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays and rising with length of service, employee assistance programme, a monthly ‘protected hour’, free on-site parking, plus more!
