- Managing the Decontamination department effectively.
- Overseeing the delivery of decontamination installation and services, ensuring these meet the highest quality and compliance standards.
- Using and handling different equipment such as vacuum sterilisers, instrument washer disinfectors, autoclaves and steam sterilisers.
- Providing training to engineers on servicing, repairing, validating and maintaining decontamination equipment.
- Carrying out inspections on autoclaves to ensure they are compliant with standards and regulations.
- Supporting both customers and colleagues with technical assistance and troubleshooting.
- Building strong relationships with customers and keep sales opportunities in mind by signing up customers to service contracts.
- Maintaining accurate records of all completed work, including the parts that have been used and any invoices that have been sent.
