Your Company: A manufacturing and engineering business is seeking a Decontamination Engineering Lead to join the team which is located a short distance outside of Royston, Hertfordshire. This business operates predominantly in the medical industry and has been supporting their customers for over 30 years with comprehensive solutions of the highest quality to support their clients’ visions.  Your Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Managing the Decontamination department effectively.
  • Overseeing the delivery of decontamination installation and services, ensuring these meet the highest quality and compliance standards.
  • Using and handling different equipment such as vacuum sterilisers, instrument washer disinfectors, autoclaves and steam sterilisers.
  • Providing training to engineers on servicing, repairing, validating and maintaining decontamination equipment.
  • Carrying out inspections on autoclaves to ensure they are compliant with standards and regulations.
  • Supporting both customers and colleagues with technical assistance and troubleshooting.
  • Building strong relationships with customers and keep sales opportunities in mind by signing up customers to service contracts.
  • Maintaining accurate records of all completed work, including the parts that have been used and any invoices that have been sent.
What you will need to Apply:The ideal candidate for this role will have 5 years of experience in a similar or comparable role, within the medical or dental industry. Applicants will need to be familiar with brands that make decontamination equipment such as Melag, NSK or Mocom or any others. It is required that the position holder have strong communication skills and be highly competent in problem-solving. Previous team management skills and experience would be highly sought after.  This role may require some travel to different locations.  What you will get in Return:For the successful candidate a starting salary of up to £65,000 is available and will compliment a comprehensive remuneration package including a bonus potential, health benefits, excellent holiday entitlement and good pension contribution.
