JHP Recruitment are seeking experienced Security Officers for a large processing facility based in Royston on a relief basis. These are physical roles where you will be required to walk around the plant and offices throughout the day. These are permanent roles where you will work between 24-48 hours a week across days, nights, weekdays, and weekends on a rota.
Main Accountabilities:
- Access Control of the building
- Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms and CCTV - carrying out routine checks if required
- Carry out patrols across the site
- Looking out for suspicious activity to diffuse
- Retain full control of any threatening behaviour until the arrival of the police or any other external agency
- Monitoring loss and waste - reporting any incidences
Working hours:
- 24-48 hours a week
- Flexibility required across days, nights, weekdays, and weekends
Pay rates:
- £14.95ph PAYE
Applicant Requirements:
- SIA License
- Driving License and own vehicle
- 5-year checkable employment history & Right to Work in the UK
- Flexibility to work days, nights and weekends
- Must be able to travel up to an hour for other sites
