Higher Level Teaching Assistant | Rugby, CV22 | £100 - £125 per day | September 2024 start

Are you a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) seeking an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of young learners? Our vibrant and inclusive partner school is looking for a HLTA to join them on a full time basis from September, for the right candidate this can progress from long-term to permanent position.

As part of this role, you will be expected to:

  • Assist in creating and adapting teaching resources and materials to meet the diverse learning needs of students in the class.
  • Plan and deliver lessons and activities, including preparing materials, setting up equipment, and organizing the classroom environment.
  • Plan and lead engaging interventions for pupils and supporting them to achieve their key learning targets.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to both students and teachers to aid their ongoing development.

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Be HLTA qualified, desirable but not essential.
  • Have 12 months experience in a primary educational setting.
  • Have experience leading 1:1 or group interventions (desirable).
  • Knowledge and understanding of the National Curriculum and its application for primary-aged children.
  • Be able to quickly build relationships with students and staff.
