My client is an international engineering group who are renowned for the quality of their products and services. Due to their continued growth and exciting plans for the future they have an opportunity for a Graduate Engineer to join their team.

The activity undertaken by the Engineering Department is both diverse and challenging as it covers all aspects of the design, manufacture and repair of machines which are often highly complex.

the company will provide a comppppprehensive training and development programme and the duites and responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities & Accountability
  • Root cause analysis of failed machinery
  • Production of repair instructions for failed equipment
  • Undertaking engineering activity, including client facing aspects, during all phases of specific projects
  • Undertaking diagnostic activity on machinery prior to failure, including on site analysis of machine condition and compilation of life assessment reports
  • Providing service and maintenance support
  • Completing stress analysis including FEA
  • Assisting the tendering and project management teams with winning new projects and then providing technical oversight thorough to completion
  • Producing test methodologies and instructions for the dynamic testing of large machines and subsequent analysis of results
Qualifications, Experience & Personal Attributes
  • Achievement of a relevant degree in the engineering sector
  • Ability to work either as part of a team and independently when required
  • Understanding of rotating machines such as motors, generators, turbines, pumps or comparable equipment desirable
  • Good documentation skills
