Do you have experience working with SEN learners or early years children? If so, we would love to hear from you!We are a specialist SEN school based in Rugby, dedicated to providing high-quality education and support for children with a broad spectrum of complex needs, including autism, physical disabilities, and profound learning difficulties. We are currently seeking full-time and ad-hoc SEN Teaching Assistants to join our team and make a meaningful impact on the lives of our students.Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to children with a range of SEN needs, ensuring they can access learning in a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Assist with classroom activities, personal care (where required), and social development.
  • Work closely with teachers and therapists to implement individual learning plans.
  • Support children in developing communication, independence, and life skills.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that promotes student well-being.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience supporting children with SEN or early years learners.
  • A compassionate and patient approach to working with children with complex needs.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A willingness to undertake relevant training and development.
  • An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
