Your new companyHays Recruitment are proud to be supporting a marketing leading children's service provider as they require three experienced and qualified team leaders for a children's service in Runcorn. In your new role you will be working with children and young people with EBD and LD, and supporting the management team with the day-to-day running and management of a team of residential childcare workers. Your working pattern will be longdays and sleeps on a 1-on 2-off basis.Your new roleIn your new role you will be working with children and young people between the ages of 11 - 16 with EBD and LD. You will support the management team with the day-to-day running of the service by leading from the front in terms of the care, support, and dedication to the young people. You hold regular team meetings, hold performance reviews, service reviews and aid the in on-going training of current staff as well as new starters. You will also support the young people on a 1:1 and group basis. Other duties will include but are not limited to; behavioural support, emotional support, access to education, general house hold duties, and meal preparation.What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful with your application you need full"Right to Work"in the UK as well as a minimum of 6 months referenceable experience in a senior role support children and young people in the last 2 years, as well as:

  • An NVQ/QCF Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Children and Young Peoples Health and Social Care
  • Experience supporting learning disabilities and emotional and behavioural disorders
  • The ability to manage a team
