I'm looking for a dedicated Standalone Payroll Officer to join our client's team and contribute to their success and growth plans. This is an exciting opportunity to head up the payroll department and grow the team and your career, as the business continues to grow from strength to strength.Role Overview:As a Standalone Payroll Officer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of end-to-end weekly payrolls from timesheets. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about payroll.Key Responsibilities:

  • Process end-to-end weekly payrolls accurately and efficiently from timesheets.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and legislation.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiencies.
  • Handle payroll queries and provide exceptional customer service to employees.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and reports.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in processing end-to-end payroll, preferably on a weekly basis.
  • Strong understanding of payroll regulations and legislation.
  • Proactive approach with a keen eye for identifying efficiencies.
  • Ability to work independently and run payroll without supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-centric mindset.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and Excel.
