Wilson Recruitment Ltd are currently seeking an experienced and qualified Plant Mechanic or Plant Fitter or Plant Technician for a family run business who are the leading provider of plant hire and have been in operation for over 40 years.Location: Rushden, NorthamptonshireRota: Monday to Friday, 07:00-17:00 Salary: Depends on experience and qualifications c.£16 per hour to £19 per hour (negotiable)Environment: Site workshop, constructionStart date: ASAP for the right personCandidate:- Must be an experienced Plant Fitter or Plant Technician or Plant Mechanic- Should possess minimum NVQ L2 qualification in plant, NVQ L3 desirable- Shall evident employment history in the form of a CV and references- Can work on any plant equipment to include 360 diggers, dumper trucks, excavators, tele handlers, ADTs etc- Will hold an in date CSCS card and minimum Car (Cat B) driving licence- Might have a long history in the construction industry desirable- Could hold a HGV Class 1 licence (Cat C+E) desirable- Shall be flexible, adaptable, punctual and reliable- Should be able to produce a plant maintenance qualification at point of interview (desirable)- Must be a team player who can verbalise all defect repairs into the Workshop Foreman - Could hold a Class 2 HIAB licence to deliver plant machinery to construction sites (desirable)Benefits and perks:- Salary negotiable dependant on skills, qualifications, experience etc- Standard 28 days annual leave- Overtime available at an enhanced hourly rate of pay- Performance based salary reviews- Opportunity to undertake further training and career development- On site washing machines and tumble dryers for your use- Access to company vehicle and fuel card - Working on companies own fleet and for a family owned business where you’ll be surrounded by an understanding management team, good working conditions and in a relaxed atmosphere.
