Your new roleHays is seeking a talented and experienced Secondary Geography Teacher to join a thriving department within a Northamptonshire school. This permanent position, starting in September, offers the chance to shape the next generation of geographers. We're looking for someone with a proven track record of teaching KS3, KS4, and ideally KS5 students, with a particular strength in preparing pupils for their GCSEs.
What you'll need to succeed
- Deliver Geography up to GCSE (essential)
- Plan & deliver engaging lessons for KS3 & KS4
- Assess, record & report student progress
- Relevant Geography degree and PGCE/QTS (or equivalent)
- Excellent lesson planning & delivery skills
- Clean DBS & references (past 2 years)
- Strong classroom management
