Painter and Decorator

Multi Trades Recruitment is looking for a Painter/Decorator to begin work for a well-established company in the Woking area.

About the role:

• Working Hours: 9am-5pm (with 1 hour unpaid break)
• Pay Rate: £19 per hour
• Duration of hire: Approximately 4 weeks to 6 months
• The successful candidate will be responsible for various painting and decorating tasks including surface preparation, paint application, and collaborating with other construction professionals when necessary.
• Long-term work for the right candidate
• Start date: 10/05/2024
• Working knowledge of painting and decorative techniques
• Ability to work at heights
• Thoroughness and attention to detail
• Good maths skills to calculate work surface and materials
• Experience with using painting and decorating tools such as brushes, spray guns, and hand scrapers
• Working with clients to ensure work is completed according to requirements
• Measuring work area to calculate time and materials required
• Preparing surfaces and surrounding areas
• Choosing and mixing paints and colours
• Cleaning up tools and supplies after completing projects
• Collaborating with other tradespeople on larger jobs

• Painter Decoratoring experience
• CSCS card
