ROLE SUMMARY
* You will be responsible for the day to day co-supervision of the FM services and will be the customers' point of contact for any FM related issues.
* You will deputise in the absence of the FM Supervisor.
* The FM services comprise of the cleaning, catering, portering, and goods receiving services, linen and laundry management.
* You will be responsible for supporting the management of all the FM Assistants
* Ensure that all areas are maintained to a clean and hygienic level for patients, trust staff and visitors in line with the current National Standards of Cleanliness.
* Ensuring the goods delivered to site are received, checked and distributed appropriately.
* Arrange rosters to ensure that there is sufficient cover available and resources are used efficiently.
* Ensure compliance with legislation relating to both Food Safety and Health and Safety.
* Provide FM support and advice as required.
* To deal efficiently any complaints/issues, report remedial action to FM Supervisor and Facilities Officer.
* As part of the Facilities Team you are expected to have a flexible approach, excellent interpersonal and customer skills, ability to use a degree of initiative to prioritise and organise your duties.
