Our client, a Consultancy business based in South Manchester, is currently looking to recruit a Senior HR advisor. Currently going through an exciting period of change, the role will require someone who is adept at working in an extremely fast-paced environment who can provide generalist support to the HR team and the wider business on the full employee life-cycle.

The main requirements of the role will include:-

  • Provide expert guidance on HR matters, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and organisational development.
  • Support & deliver absence management processes, in conjunction with the HR Advisor
  • Support with renumeration and benefits
  • Lead and manage HR projects, ensuring successful execution within established timelines and budgets.
  • Co-ordinate payroll and pensions, ensuring compliance and accuracy
  • Assist with maintaining all personnel files adhering to company policy and data protection
  • Support with the appraisal process
  • Oversee & support the HR Team with the offboarding process
  • Act as a trusted advisor to leadership, offering insights and recommendations on HR best practices and compliance with employment laws.
  • Provide assistance to ensure that all company policies, processes and practices are kept in line with the most up-to-date employment legislation, including the regular updating of the Employee Handbook
  • Undertake any ad-hoc HR projects, such as initiatives that support the HR strategy for the UK and/or the wider Company

Skills and Experience:

  • Previous HR Advisor experience required, ideally within a professional services industry.
  • Experience of change management/integration through M&A’s.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and Statutory legislation and processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills, with the ability to adapt communication styles to suit the audience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • First class organisation/prioritisation and multi-tasking skills with ability to work independently.
  • Excellent attention to detail & strong analytical skills.
