Reeson Education is working in partnership with a vibrant and supportive primary school in the M33 area of Sale to recruit a reliable and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant. This full-time, long-term position is set to begin immediately, offering a fantastic opportunity to become part of a warm and inclusive school community.

Initially, the Teaching Assistant will be supporting a Key Stage 2 class with a mix of general classroom support and focused help for children with additional needs. From September, there may be scope for the Teaching Assistant to transition into another key stage or join the school's specialist provision, depending on experience and the evolving needs of the pupils.

This role is ideal for a Teaching Assistant who enjoys variety, thrives in a team-oriented environment, and is committed to helping children make real progress-both academically and socially.

Teaching Assistant Key Responsibilities:* Support classroom activities across KS2, with an initial focus in Year 3* Assist with one-to-one and small group interventions* Help manage classroom routines and transitions* Contribute to individual support plans for pupils with SEND* Work collaboratively with teachers and specialist staff* Promote a calm, inclusive learning environment

The Ideal Teaching Assistant Will:* Be patient, adaptable, and proactive* Have prior experience in a primary or SEND setting* Feel confident working with children with additional needs* Be an excellent team player and communicator* Be passionate about education and child development

Teaching Assistant Essential Requirements:* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)* Legal right to work in the UK* Recent references from education-related roles* Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection
