About the Role
Connex Education are working with a Primary School in Salford.
They are looking for a Teaching Assistant that has had previous experience with SEND children, whether this may be as a General Teaching Assistant or even as a 1:1 Support.
The role is to start as soon as possible and the school is looking for the perfect SEND Teaching Assistant to initially join their team until the end of this academic year but it does have the potential to run into the 2024/2025 academic year too.
Assignment Details
The assignment is a 5 days a week in a school in Salford.
It could run into the next academic year and even potentially turn permanent, this depends if you fit the role and school perfectly.

Person Specification
- Experience with children that have additional needs in the classroom
- Hold a valid Level 1, 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Be willing to provide personal care if needed
- Be confident in building effective working relationships with adults and pupils
- Excellent ICT skills
- Have a current DBS on the update service or willing to provide a new one
- Have experience working with SEND children
