Calling all experienced Primary Teachers! Our partner school is seeking a dedicated and experienced Year 1 teacher to start in September 2024 for the academic year.

Our partner school is a one form entry school that has high expectations for pupils to build their confidence as well as ensure they behave in an appropriate manner at all times. The school provides opportunities for children to develop their talents and interests through their extracurricular activities. The school prides itself on its ability to ensure everyone feels included in their school environment.

As a Year 2 teacher, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate planning and assessment records. You will also have the support of the subject leaders to assist with planning and resourcing. The school uses a range of learning schemes to support with planning and has detailed long-term and medium-term curriculum overviews. Experience in a master approach for mathematics and experience with Little Wandle is beneficial.

To be a success in this role, you will need to:

  • Have QTS or QTLS status
  • Have previous experience of supporting children with SEN
  • Have experience with a KS1 class
  • Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
  • Provide a CV with full employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained
  • Have the legal right to work in the UK
