Regional Field Sales Engineer
Key Performance Areas
- To deliver year on year sales growth on the full range of product.
- To drive continuous improvement activities within customers and to effectively operate all sales channels.
- Maintain and strengthen business relations with customers and channel partners.
- Drive and implement business action plans.
- To provide the RSM with accurate and timely market information for the customers, distributors, and competitors within the relevant geographical area.
- Maintain and develop new and existing customers.
- Lead the launch of new products and services to assigned accounts.
- Adhere to company policy and procedure during day-to-day business activities.
Profile
- Must possess a thorough understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Must have a through knowledge of the application of cutting tools and ideally experience working with 5 axis machine centres.
- Strong negotiator and influencing skills.
- Independent, self-directed and results orientated.
- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills both written and orally.
EXPERIENCE
- Strong engineering background obtained through on the job exposure or relevant apprenticeship.
- Must have a thorough knowledge of the application of cutting tools and ideally experience working with 5 axis machine centers.
- Proven sales experience within the metal cutting industry is desirable.
