Our client are a well established construction business based in Tyne & Wear. They are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their team on a contract basis for a project based in Teesside.
Job description:
- Responsible for the day to day management of a large demolition project.
- Overseeing and managing contractors on site.
- To ensure all documentation is prepared in line with client specifications and timeframes.
- To ensure health, safety and environmental standards are met.
- Managing the flow of project information between the team and the client, through regular meetings and written communications.
- Perform any other duties that may be required by your line manager and the Director for Programme Management from time to time.
- Ensuring that project timelines are kept on track.
Person specification:
- Degree qualified in relevant discipline (highly desirable).
- Proven experience in project management.
- Must have a full UK Driving License.
- Relevant site qualifications.
- Ability to analyse complex information and make informed decisions.
- Able to read and accurately interpret contract documents, programs, drawings, and technical specifications.
