As the number one cheese ingredient solutions supplier to the UK’s major food manufacturers, retailers and food service customers we’ve achieved rapid growth over the last five years and ambitious plans for this to continue. ‘AA’ Grade BRC accredited, we’ve invested heavily in systems and plant infrastructure with high speed grating and slicing capability producing over 400 tons weekly.

Reporting directly to the Manufacturing Manager, the Production Administrator is a key role to support the accurate co-ordination and control of stock through our Production system.

Key activities will include:

  • Assist in the co-ordination of stock to produce required daily volumes
  • Ensure both physical stock and system batches are correct and accurate
  • Generate daily reports for production efficiency data by product, line and shift
  • Identify variances to planned targets and provide analysis for variances through investigation
  • Input weekly manning figures into site systems to ensure correct allocation
  • Record and monitor KPIs relating to waste to ensure targets are adhered to
  • Working with the APC ensure correct amounts of material are supplied to the line
  • Complete Batch Variance reporting and balancing, investigating and analysing as necessary to identify best practice and avoid recurrence
  • Complete regular stock counts and consumables stock counts
  • Conduct daily audits of production paperwork and highlight non-conformances to shift Managers
  • Ensure all Production SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures) are correct and up to date and training files are audited and up to date against correct SOP’s

Who are we looking for?

  • solid admin experience
  • confident using systems and good knowledge of Excel and some Powerpoint
  • Oracle experience ideal but not essential
  • Ideally experience of a manufacturing environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and an organized and systematic way of working
  • confident and able to handle multiple tasks
  • accurately record and analyse different data sets to provide KPI information
