Their portfolio spans student accommodation, apartment blocks, and basements, with a particular emphasis on reinforced concrete and groundworks.

Position Overview:

They are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Site Manager with a proven track record in reinforced concrete and groundworks to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations on site, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. This role demands exceptional leadership skills, extensive technical knowledge, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all on-site activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, timelines, and budgets.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Supervise site staff and subcontractors, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional development.
  • Monitor project progress, conduct regular site inspections, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations, promoting a culture of safety on-site.
  • Prepare and submit detailed progress reports, including updates on project status, budget variances, and potential risks.
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the construction process, maintaining a focus on project objectives.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, maintaining open lines of communication and ensuring client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
