My client is in need of a Business Development Executive for their Scunthorpe/Grimsby sites due to expansion.

Background:
My client is a rapidly expanding Group Training Association (GTA) with training centres in Hull, Stallingborough and Scunthorpe. They provide engineering apprentices and adult skills training for hundreds of companies in Yorkshire and Humberside.

JOB PURPOSE:

  • To provide a high quality sales function within the organisation.

MAIN TASKS

  • 1. To deliver a first-class consultative sales experience to prospects and customers across the range of my clients products and services.
  • 2. To achieve agreed personal sales targets across the range of their products and services.
  • 3. Develop and deliver sales presentations using a range of media and techniques to achieve successful outcomes.
  • 4. Maintain regular, effective and timely interventions with all prospects and customers ensuring that all contact is recorded in the CRM.
  • 5. Manage personal pipeline of opportunities to ensure achievement of personal objectives and contribution to team targets.
  • 6. Develop business proposals for prospects and customers.
  • 7. Carry out sales meetings with prospects and customers.
  • 8. Gather and share intelligence to support the strategic and operational planning of my client.
  • 9. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, co-workers, learners, companies and the general public.
  • 10. Adhere to stated policies and procedures relating to health and safety, and quality management that are applicable to the role.
  • 11. Arrange and participate in meetings, team events, staff meetings, and open days/events. This includes the taking of minutes when requested by management.
  • 12.Arrange and organise (or assist with) events to promote my client, their apprentices and their achievements, to include effective communication with all the stakeholders of the event ensuring all the relevant information is passed on and understood.

A full driving licence and use of own vehicle is essential as some travelling between sites may be necessary.

My client is committed to safeguarding their learners and successful applicants will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service check, and where necessary, to register on a suitable teacher training programme.
