Setting-Out Engineer: 6 Months minimum
Day rate: £278-285 - Full kit will be provided by the site.
Linsco Recruitment is seeking an experienced and highly motivated setting-out engineer in Hull for an immediate start on the construction of an Amazon distribution centre.

As a setting-out engineer, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of this project. You will be responsible for ensuring precise setting out and surveying of the site, coordinating with various teams, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Engineer responsibilities:
- Precision setting out: execute accurate setting out and levelling for all construction activities, ensuring the project adheres to design specifications.
- Technical expertise: Provide technical support and advise on-site, solving any engineering challenges that arise
- Project coordination: collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and other site engineers to ensure seamless project progression.
- Quality assurance: Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality control and ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Surveying and reporting: Perform detailed site surveys and prepare comprehensive reports for project documentation.
- Resource management: Efficiently manage resources, including materials, equipment, and personnel, to meet deadlines.
- Health and safety compliance: Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and environmental regulations, promoting a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Valid CSCS Card
- Proven experience as a setting-out engineer or site engineer on large-scale construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of surveying techniques and equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Relevant engineering qualifications and certificates
- References provided upon request
