Warehouse Administrator

We are seeking a meticulous and organized Warehouse Administrator to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing administrative tasks within the warehouse environment, ensuring smooth operations and efficient processes.

Company Overview:

Our client is one of the UK’s premier tipper manufacturers, whose origins date back to the 1930’s where they started making wooden vehicle bodies, serving the needs of the local agricultural and construction industries.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain accurate records of inventory, including receiving, storage, and dispatch.

Process orders and shipments promptly and accurately, utilizing warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.

Coordinate with warehouse staff and logistics teams to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Perform data entry and generate reports related to inventory levels, stock movements, and order fulfilment.

Liaise with suppliers and carriers to arrange deliveries, resolve discrepancies, and track shipments.

Support inventory audits and cycle counts, reconciling physical stock with system records.

Assist with general administrative duties, such as filing, answering phones, and responding to email inquiries.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.


Qualifications and Skills:

Previous experience in warehouse administration or a similar role is preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with warehouse management software.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.

Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.

Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate with team members and external stakeholders.

Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management principles is advantageous.

A proactive and adaptable approach to work, with a willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.

Hours: Monday - Friday 07:00 - 15:30
