We are working with a reputable and established client based in Scunthorpe who are looking to a appoint a Welder Fabricator on a full time, permanent basis.
Working hours: Monday – Friday 07:00 – 17:00
Pay rate: Up to £16.00 per hour DOE
Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and repair metal components using various techniques including MIG, TIG and MMA for carbon and stainless steel.
- Read and interpret technical drawings.
- Prioritize safety using appropriate PPE.
- Operate tools, machinery, and welding equipment.
- Cut and grind metal skillfully.
- Maintain a clean work environment.
- Undertake additional duties as needed.
Skills:
- Completed Fabricator Welder apprenticeship or equivalent.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with lifting equipment and manual handling.
- Proficient in reading technical drawings.
- To maintain standards on safety, hygiene, discipline, attendance, and good time keeping.
- Proactive approach to safety.
- Work well alone and as part of a team.
