Randstad are recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to join Sefton Council's Children with Disabilities Team. This is a full time role, offering an amazing pay rate of 35 - 40 per hour, DOE.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with children and young people with severe and profound disabilities and their families.
  • Undertake the full range of social work roles and tasks for children and young people who meet our criteria, including assessment work, supporting children and young people through CiN Plans, CP Plans and when they need to become children in our care.
  • Support our care leavers and support young people and families to transition to adult services.
  • Work in very close partnership with other services and professionals to support our families.
  • We care about our children, young people and their families and embrace a strengths-based, partnership approach to providing support and relationship-based social work.
  • Manage a caseload.

Requirements:

  • Social Work Degree or equivalent
  • Enhanced DBS
  • Social Work England registered

Experience:

  • Children
