Bookkeeper – Fantastic client portfolioDo you have an interest in technology? Would you like to work for growing Firm with an interesting and entrepreneurial client base – including a number of high growth businesses operating with the technology sector? If so then my client has a great opportunity which will offer excellent exposure and development opportunities for the right candidate.As Bookkeeper within this firm of Chartered Accountants, you will work closely with your portfolio of clients and will be responsible for the following:

Day to day Bookkeeping using Xero - including preparing accounts to trial balance
Preparation of monthly management accounts
Preparation of VAT returns
Running payroll for clients on a monthly basis – dealing with all queries relating to payroll and employee benefits
Assisting in areas such as client onboarding and general administration
Dealing with client queries and liaising with other Accountants or Managers as required

To be considered, you will have Bookkeeping and payroll experience – ideally in an Accountancy firm. You will enjoy working in fast paced environment and will be well organised with a proactive and flexible approach. Good knowledge of Xero would be highly desirable. The ability to work in a busy environment and communicate effectively with clients is also highly important.In return, you will receive a competitive salary plus study support and excellent career development opportunities.
