Position: Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner

We are excited to offer the opportunity for a dedicated Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our client's small nursery setting located in the picturesque Kent countryside. This unique setting requires a passionate individual who has a love for nature and the outdoors, with the drive to enhance young minds in a child centred environment. Ideal candidates will possess a strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and safeguarding practices.
Nursery Practitioner Responsibilities:
- Assist in the daily care and supervision of children, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities that foster their development and enjoyment of the natural world.
- Manage basic care duties including nappy changing, feeding, and ensuring the overall well-being of children.
- Maintain cleanliness of the nursery environment.
- Regular communication with parents to provide updates and discuss their child’s development.
Nursery Practitioner Requirements:
- Must have a recognised Level 3 childcare qualification
- Experience working as a Nursery Practitioner with young children in a childcare setting.
- Proficient knowledge of child development and the EYFS.
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in English.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and follow instructions.
