Description
- Developing and testing mechanical systems and products.
- Conducting research and implementing new design procedures.
- Providing technical advice to clients and team members.
- Overseeing maintenance programmes and quality control systems.
- Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Collaborating with project managers and other engineers to ensure project success.
- Evaluating mechanical systems and products by conducting research and applying principles of mechanics.
- Providing technical support to the Engineering & Manufacturing team.
Profile
A successful Mechanical Engineer should have:
- Time Served apprenticeship
- Proven practical experience within heavy industry
- Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
