CAD Technician (SolidWorks) | Inside IR35 | 6 months | Aerospace | £280 - £320/pd
SR2 are supporting an aerospace consultancy on their hunt for a CAD Technician to complete UAV detailed activities.
You will be working closing with internal stakeholders, external stakeholders and peers on a Technical basis, ensuring activities are executed appropriately in accordance with programme needs under the guidance of assigned project Technical Lead.
Responsibilities will include conducting detailed design of UAS components, assemblies, and installations to requirements and timescales agreed. You will also produce SolidWorks 3D CAD models and 2D engineering drawings that capture required engineering definition for manufacture.
Skills required:
- SolidWorks
- Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering disciplines
- Design for manufacture in a production environment
The role is hybrid (minimum 3 days on site and 2 WFH). Due to the nature of the work you will be required to obtain SC Clearance. Existing SC is desirable but they're happy to put you through the process if you're eligible.
