What will you be doing?

  • Managing a portfolio of clients monthly payrolls
  • Bookkeeping activities for a portfolio of client companies
  • Onboarding of new suppliers and customers including vendor checks
  • Assisting in the preparation of the monthly management accounts and cash forecasts
  • Assisting in payment runs and bank reconciliations
  • Assisting in the onboarding of new clients
  • Filing of Companies House forms
  • Liaising directly with clients and resolving queries and questions over the phone and via email

What experience do we need?

  • Previous payroll experience with autonomy of handling end to end payroll processing
  • AAT qualified or proven experience in a similar role
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes, including calculating wages, taxes, and deductions and year end procedures
  • Knowledge of statutory requirements and regulations related to payroll including pension schemes - auto-enrolment procedures
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
