I am currently recruiting for a Strategic Campaigns Specialist to work on behalf of a leading public sector organisation in Sheffield you will play a crucial role in shaping our regeneration communications strategy.

You’ll work closely with the Heart of the City team, leveraging your expertise to engage stakeholders, drive awareness, and communicate our vision effectively.

Your focus will be on creating impactful campaigns that resonate with our diverse audience.

Responsibilities:

  • Campaign Development:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategic campaigns related to regeneration initiatives.
    • Craft compelling narratives that highlight the impact of our work and resonate with our target audience.
    • Ensure alignment with organisational goals and messaging.
  • Media Relations and Press Office:
    • Leverage your journalism and press office experience to handle media inquiries, draft press releases, and manage media relationships.
    • Monitor media coverage related to regeneration projects and proactively address any issues.
  • Social Media and Digital Campaigns:
    • Drive our social media presence by creating engaging content, managing social channels, and tracking performance metrics.
    • Develop and implement digital campaigns that amplify our regeneration messaging.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Work closely with community partners, local authorities, and other stakeholders to foster positive relationships.
    • Organise events, workshops, and community engagement sessions to gather feedback and share updates.
  • Measurement and Reporting:
    • Evaluate the success of campaigns using relevant KPIs and adjust strategies as needed.
    • Provide regular reports to senior leadership on campaign performance.

Skills/Experience required:

  • Proven experience in strategic campaigns, preferably within regeneration, urban development, or related sectors.
  • Journalism or press office experience is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently.

An attractive hourly rate of up to £22.08(PAYE) or £27.51 (Via Umbrella) is on offer and the hours of work are full time (37 per week)
