Your new company;A large national client are recruiting for a freelance Contracts/Operations Manager - Drainage for a project in Sheffield. Reporting to the Group Operations Manager you will be assisting the Project Manager with the day to day running of the project. Your new role:We are currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Drainage Operations Manager to join a reputable company on a freelance basis for a minimum of 3 months. Reporting directly to the Group Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all operations to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the drainage services.

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations
  • Manage and coordinate the scheduling of jobs, ensuring they are completed within deadlines and to client satisfaction
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of health and safety procedures throughout the operation
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients, providing expert advice and resolving any issues or complaints promptly and professionally
  • Manage and motivate a team of technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient service
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations for team members, identifying areas for improvement and providing training and development opportunities
  • Monitor and control costs, ensuring projects are completed within budget
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and contribute to business growth

What you'll need to succeed;Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, Strong technical knowledge, Proven managerial experience, with excellent leadership and communication skills , Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly to changing priorities, Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, Valid driving licence.
