Uncapped earnings potential for a Business Development Manager, Area Sales Manager with a very successful and expanding supplier of industrial fasteners to OEMs 聽 BASIC SALARY: 拢40,000 聽 BENEFITS:路 Open ended commission scheme realistically worth 拢8,000-拢10,000 on top based on growth, paid quarterly. 路 Fully Expensed Company Car - Audi A3, VW Golf, BMW 1 Series type . 路 Contributory Pension Scheme, 5% from the Company. 路 Life Assurance. 路 Health Cash Plan. 路 Long Service Awards 路 Full Out of Pocket Expenses including Company Credit Card 路 24 Days Holiday plus stats and birthday. 路 Full home, remote comms incl mobile, Laptop, etc. 聽 LOCATION: North of England 聽 COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire, West Midlands, Staffordshire, Humberside, Yorkshire, Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Cumbria, Merseyside, Durham, Teesside, Tyneside, Northumberland. 聽 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Business Development Manager, Area Sales Manager- Fasteners to OEMs 聽 路 Managing existing clients and contracts (60%)- there is significant existing business on the area which will involve developing and strengthening relationships and contacts with a view to up selling and cross / range selling into them. 路 Also negotiating price increases with customers, keeping on top of and re-signing them after their contract expires. 聽 路 Generating new business from new clients (40%) which will involve dealing at senior buyer / procurement and technical (production and engineering) personnel level in potential customers, you will be targeting companies ideally with potential annual spends of 拢50k to 拢1/2m+, ideally to supply them with a full service / KanBan supply chain solution. 路 New business will come from the company's database and via your own market research and own lead generation and other on and off line marketing / website / exhibition activity; also leveraging existing success into other similar potential markets and customers, "grouping" customers from certain markets. 路 A key part of the sell is to open clients up and getting them talking about how you can help them with their operational efficiency and profitability. 路 Looking for several new, good quality, potentially sizeable customers a year often involving long lead times. 聽 PERSON SPECIFICATION:聽Business Development Manager, Area Sales Manager - Fasteners to OEMs 聽 To be considered for this potentially rewarding Business Development Manager, financially and in terms of career progression you will have; 聽 路聽A proven track record of sales success selling some sort of technical component to OEMs, much preferably fasteners or high volume / C-class components, or related products with a mechanical engineering basis. 路 A good knowledge of fasteners and related KANBAN, VMI, Just in Time supply services and solutions. 路 Drive and determination to get in front of, and talk credibly to, senior purchasing, buying and engineering / technical personnel at customers. 路 The ability to spot and / or and experience spotting opportunities with existing customers for cross and range up selling. 聽 THE COMPANY:聽 Established over 40 years my client is a group of 聽companies with which has doubled in size since 2022 with ambitious plans for future expansion.
